Please join the From the Land Folk Art Festival, which is a gathering of traditional crafts and skills with demonstrations.  The 2010 From The Land Festival with be the 9th annual.   Mark down October 23-24, 2010 (Saturday 10-4 and Sunday 10-3) for a unique experience in the beautiful rural Wisconsin country side.  The Toll/Londowski farm one mile west of the Hwy 49/Co. Rd. J Intersection, Green Lake will be transformed into a delightful setting for this annual event.

Come learn knowledge and techniques given from the heart by people who truly enjoy what they do!  Baskets, bead art, whimsy, folk art painting, wood carving, pottery, rugs & weaving, handmade soaps, jewelry & clothing, wood furniture, papier mache, metal sculptures, photography, pine needle art, candles, pumpkins, gourds, apples, honey, kettle corn, pasture-fed beef, chicken, lamb, pork, smoked meat, European bakery, and more!

Your ears will be blessed by Folksinger and Songwriter Jim Anger.  Delighted by past years performances, Jim Anger is always a welcome edition to this great gathering.  Jim has been known to stroll the grounds entertaining, bringing music back to the people.  The organizing family loves him and they are sure you will also.

Tom Schultz will be speaking about Birding in Wisconsin at 11:00am and 1:00pm both days.  Tom is a local Green Lake resident, but internationally known for his work in his field.  Please come see Tom in our fields to discuss Wisconsin’s Birds.

Interested in antiques and old stuff, well there will be some of that also.  Another great draw is the antique tractor show going on both days.  You just never know what or who you will find at this event.  Farming heritage and family fun to be had by all.  See you at From the Land on the farm in Green Lake.
