Jan and her grandchildren.

Jan Londowski (Sept. 5, 1048 – Oct. 3, 2023) always dreamed of holding this type festival on her family farm and in 2000 she officially established “From the Land“.

Jan loved folk art, crafts made from locally sourced materials, and the artistry of the Native American community. She had a fine eye for quality and spent many afternoons at shows or flea markets throughout the state. She is widely known as being the founder and organizer of “From the Land Folk Art Festival,” which has been held every October on the family farm for the past 23 years and will continue in her honor.

Over the past two decades the festival has drawn a loyal following, developed relationships that will last forever and keeps bringing families back together on the farm the third weekend in October.

Although Jan passed in 2023 shortly before last years annual festival took place, her spirit, memory and love for all things nature were there.

The Annual From the Land Festival is a gathering of traditional crafts and skills with demonstrations.

This wonderful celebration of all things “From the Land”, features products, knowledge and techniques given from the heart by people who truly enjoy what they do.

Please follow and share The From the Land Facebook Page and the invite a friend or two via our facebook event for the 2024 From the Land Festival.
